Real screens from the running product, captured 21 August 2026 — not mock-ups.
Future Me Says is an AI-assisted future-self letter app for adults. You share what your day felt like, and it creates letters in the voice of the you one year ahead. The letters use only the unsealed words you choose to share. It is not a person, therapy, medical care or a crisis service.
Dear you,
I know how hard this is.
I see you.
I’m you, one year ahead.
Things might not be perfect here. But there is more light.
— Future You
How I stay with you
Tell me what matters today: an interest, a question, a hope, or something ordinary.
Seal words so they never enter an AI letter. Hold them in your journal, or choose them for a member letter.
Members can request a personal letter that understands the meaning of their unsealed writing, without copying fragments back.
A place for every part of this

A private place to write or speak about your day. Keep something good, a thought on your mind, or a word for today.

Ten source-backed explorations with twelve questions and three result sections each. A fuller 120-question profile is available too.

Your saved discoveries, private bottles, moments and existing letters, together in your own collection.
Why it is different
Future Me Says turns the words adults choose to share into AI-written letters in the voice of themselves one year ahead.
Quiet days do not break anything. Your collection is here when you return.
I do not begin with a list, a diagnosis or “you should”. I begin with the thing you actually said.
No follower counts, public profile or conversation to maintain. Your life does not become content here.
Future You is an AI-written product voice, not a person reading and replying in secret. The app says this clearly wherever letters are created or read.

Questions
No. Letters are generated by AI and the app says so plainly. It never claims to be human, and it is not therapy, counselling, medical advice or crisis care.
Local-only play stays on your device. When you sign in, your private state can sync to Supabase. Sealed content is excluded from AI requests. You can export and delete data from Settings.

No. Incoming prompts are curated and your replies are private. The throw-back animation is a ritual, not delivery to another user.
In your App Store account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app or the account does not cancel an App Store subscription on its own.

Plenty of apps promise privacy. Very few will tell you what happens to your words at the moment they ask a model for something. Here is exactly what happens to yours.
Every journalling app has a streak. We removed ours before it existed, and the reasoning is not really about journalling at all.
The obvious build was a chatbot that talks like your future self. We made something slower on purpose.
