Is Ace Citizenship Test an official government app?
No. It is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Home Affairs. The real test is booked through the Department only, and the official handbook is free to read on their website.
Are these the real test questions?
No, and nobody outside the Department has them. Ours are original practice questions written from the current public edition of the official handbook, in the same format the real test uses: 20 questions, three options each, scored the same way.
What does it take to pass?
Two separate conditions. At least 15 of 20 overall, and all five Australian values questions correct. They are checked independently, so a strong overall score does not rescue one wrong values answer.
Does it cost anything?
All native App lessons, practice rounds, mock tests and Values Bootcamp questions are free, with no subscriptions, paid unlocks or advertising in the App. The web course at https://ace-citizenship-test.smilingquokka.app/citizenship/ is free to start (Lesson 0–4, the diagnostic and Mock 1); the full web course is a one-time A$9.99 unlock, no subscription.
Do I need an account?
Not in the App: version 1.0 has no accounts, and your results stay on your device. The web course offers an optional free account (email code, no password) so progress follows you between devices.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Questions and lessons ship with the native App, and progress stays on your device. External support, privacy and official resource pages need an internet connection.
Can I study on my computer?
